I was born in Rotherham where I have lived with my family for all my life. I am presently Cabinet Member for Corporate
Services and I chair Safer Rotherham Partnership whose vision is working together to make Rotherham safe. I have also served as a Non-Executive Director of Rotherham Hospital Trust and as a Governor at Oakwood High School.

I have served three terms nationally as a Disability Rights Commissioner and In 2006 I was awarded an OBE for public service.

I have a detailed knowledge of issues concerning local community and I am passionate about our local area and I work hard to make a
positive difference.

My name is Jeanette Mallinder. My good friend Cllr Rose McNeely is retiring and I am standing with her support. I am an experienced Cllr with a background in Health and Social Care, Housing and Education.

I have worked in Rotherham Communities for almost 30 years. I am a strong voice and fought for disability and carers rights. I ran
Rotherham Stroke Group and Carers Group for many years. I am aware of the issues in Boston Castle and will work with you on
them.

As Mayoress with the Mayor I raised £93,000. My promise to you is that I will work hard for you.

I have been living in Rotherham from a young age and currently living in Boston Castle Ward. I became involved in community activities from an early age through voluntary youth work.

I am currently working in Children and Families Services. I believe every child has good start to life and parents’ child’s relationship is the foundation of family strength. Community strength and support enable us to look after those vulnerable people who needs us the most.

If elected I would work with Boston Castle residents to promote the area and work together to identify better services for the ward and address local issues where our children can thrive and safer neighbourhood. I would serve Boston Castle with transparency and dedication.
